My work comprises images that were once physical reality with others imagined. Painterly illusions of memory and experience; they aim to suggest a world that is familiar, yet at the same time hold a sense of mystery. Oddments of scenes stumbled upon become metaphors for my concerns and image making is used to scrutinise society and enable me to decipher the internal and personal.
